Key Collection Information

For your convenience, key collection procedures vary based on the location of your booked property:

Properties in Burrum Heads:

  • Keys for properties located in Burrum Heads can be collected from our office, Property Central Burrum Heads, situated at 1/47 Burrum St, Burrum Heads. Our friendly staff will be delighted to assist you during our office hours.

Properties in Toogoom, Pacific Haven, Dundowran Beach, and Hervey Bay:

  • For properties in Toogoom, Pacific Haven, Dundowran Beach, and Hervey Bay, you will receive an email and text message on your arrival day containing a unique access code. This code will grant you access to a lockbox located either on the property premises or at our office.

Important Reminders:

  • Check-in time is scheduled for 2:00 pm. However, if the property is available, we may accommodate early check-ins upon request.
  • To inquire about the possibility of an early check-in, please contact our office at least one day prior to your arrival.
  • Please note that while we strive to accommodate early check-ins, when possible, we cannot guarantee availability.

  • Your beloved pets are welcome to stay with you; however, we kindly ask that dogs be toilet trained and refrain from accessing furniture or beds to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests.

While not all of our holiday homes come equipped with Wi-Fi, we understand the importance of staying connected during your travels. For properties without Wi-Fi, we recommend considering alternative options to ensure you have access to the internet throughout your stay. Here are some suggestions:

Travel Wi-Fi USB:

  • Bring along a travel Wi-Fi USB device to create your own personal Wi-Fi hotspot. These compact devices are easy to use and allow you to connect multiple devices to the internet wherever you go.

Hotspot Off Your Phones:

  • Utilise the hotspot feature on your smartphone to create a Wi-Fi network for your devices. Most modern smartphones offer this functionality, allowing you to share your mobile data with other devices such as laptops or tablets.

Is linen provided in my property?

Properties that include linen will have this information clearly stated in their respective advertised descriptions.

For properties where linen is not provided, please ensure to bring your own personal linen, including sheets, pillowcases, bath mats, bath towels, and tea towels. Our holiday properties are furnished with blankets/doonas, pillows, and protectors for your comfort. Additionally, we recommend bringing essentials such as soaps, dishwashing liquid, and toilet paper.

If you’re unable to bring your own linen or don’t want to use up valuable packing space, it can be hired through Property Central Burrum Heads, call our office to arrange 07 4129 5166.

Can I smoke at the property?

We maintain a strict non-smoking policy at all of our properties. Smoking is prohibited within the premises.”

I need to cancel my booking; will I receive a refund?

As outlined in our booking Terms and Conditions

For cancellations made by guests:

  • If the reservation is canceled more than 30 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee of $250 will apply.
  • If the reservation is canceled within 30 days of arrival, all payments made are non-refundable unless the period is rebooked. Any refund will be pro rata unless the property is rebooked for all the dates of the original booking.

Please be aware that booking fees and card surcharges are non-refundable.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for genuine hardship or exceptional circumstances.

When do I receive my bond back?

Your bond will be refunded within 7 business days. We aim to process refunds promptly, often returning them sooner rather than later.

How can I pay?

Our preferred payment method is by card for its convenience and security. However, we also accept payment by direct deposit, or cheque.

What do I need to bring with me?

Because our properties are self-catering, we provide a starter kit of essentials to kickstart your stay. This includes one dishwashing powder, one dishwashing detergent, two bin bags, one laundry powder, one chux, and one sponge.

You’ll need to bring your own amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, moisturizers, and common condiments like food, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, and oil.

One roll of toilet paper and one bar of soap are provided for each toilet and bathroom.

Please note that not all properties are equipped with a hairdryer.

If linen is provided, it will be explicitly stated in the property description. If not indicated, and you opt not to bring your own, sheets and towels can be hired at a reasonable price through our Property Central Burrum Heads call on 07 4129 5166.

Remember to bring your own pool towels if your property has a pool.

All properties are fully self-contained, including cutlery, plates, pots, and pans.

Can I hold a party/wedding at the property?

Unfortunately, parties and weddings are strictly prohibited at our holiday homes. However, there are many options around the Fraser Coast region to choose from for hosting events and celebrations.”

Is there a maximum number of people that can stay at the properties?

Yes, there is a maximum number of people allowed to stay in each property. Please refer to the property advertisement to find out the specific maximum occupancy for each property.”

What shall I do if something breaks during my stay?

If something breaks during your stay, please notify our agency immediately. You can reach us during business hours at 07 4129 5166. For emergencies that occur after hours, please call 0428 740 895.”

Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly advise obtaining travel insurance for all your holiday bookings. It can provide essential coverage for personal injury, illness, employment changes, or unexpected weather conditions, ensuring peace of mind during your travels.

What is there to do in Burrum Heads ?

In Burrum Heads, there’s no shortage of activities to enjoy in this serene fishing village. Here’s a glimpse of what you can experience:

Burrum Heads:
Please return keys to our Property Central Burrum Heads office at 1/47 Burrum St, Burrum Heads. If you are checking out outside of our office hours, please return keys to the after-hours slot located on the left-hand side of our front door.

Toogoom & Pacific Haven:
These properties are fitted with lockboxes. Please return the keys to the lockbox on departure and scramble the code if applicable.

Here are the scheduled bin collection days for each area:

– Burrum Heads: Tuesday
– Toogoom: Friday
– Pacific Haven: Monday
– Dundowran Beach: Wednesday
– Pialba: Tuesday
– Torquay: Thursday
– Urangan: Friday
– Scarness: Thursday
– Point Vernon: Monday

Additionally, a reminder text will be sent to the mobile number provided on the booking the afternoon before bin collection day to remind you to place the bins out.

Here are the instructions for dealing with an empty BBQ gas bottle:

  • Burrum Heads: Take your empty BBQ gas bottle to Burrum Traders along with your holiday keys and swap your gas bottle there.
  • Toogoom: Take your empty BBQ gas bottle to the Toogoom Convenience Store. Provide the name of the holiday house and your name and swap your gas bottle.
  • Pacific Haven: Swap the bottle at a nearby service station and provide the receipt to our office for reimbursement.
  • Hervey Bay: Swap the bottle at a service station or gas place of your choice in Hervey Bay, then provide the receipt to our office for reimbursement.
