Absolutely perfect
James X - 19th February 2024We had the most wonderful stay at Wags on the Beach with our two toy poodles. When the tide was out they could run for miles across the sand and through shallow rivers of water and when it was in, we made the most of sunbaking and swims. The house was completely ideal for us, the bed super comfy, nice hot water with good pressure and we loved that the location was a little isolated. You need to drive to get to a supermarket. Elders Burrum Heads R/Estate were just a pleasure to deal with :)

The house nice and spacious although a few little thing could do with an upgrade the two seater sofa looks good but it is past it’s prime you sink to the floor when you sit in it. The dining chairs are the same not very comfortable. All in all we would book again.

Nicole Larkin - 20th September 2022Lovely house with water views and easy access to the beach. Fully fenced and big yard for our dog. BBQ gas cylinder has no gauge on it and you can get a replacement at the shop but that is no good when you have started to BBQ and the shop is closed. BBQ not in good condition. My husband also sustained burns to his hand after using the microwave. The cup heating some milk became red hot after a short time but the milk was not hot. Mosquitoes are also bad morning and night.
Hi Nicole. Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately not a lot of BBQ gas bottles have a gauge on them. All of our properties require swap and go replacements from the Toogoom Store. It is unfortunate in the timing it ran out of gas and we empathise with your disappointment. The owner is aware of the condition of the BBQ and is replacing it during the Christmas holidays. The microwave is new and modern with no turn table, did you use a microwave safe cup to warm your milk? Re the mosquitoes - this is common in coastal areas when there has been wet weather. Some people are more susceptible to them than others. We suggest some repellant or coils on your next visit. Hope to see you again.

Great pet friendly stay

Perfect yard for our elderly pooch with the bonus of having the water just out the back gate. The only negative is the mattress in the main bedroom is definitely due for an upgrade. I would recommend Wags to anyone wanting an easy dog friendly holiday.
Beachside Haven
Andrew Burton - 4th April 2021Our 3rd time staying at Wags and always enjoyable, 10 minutes to Burrum Heads, 15 minutes to Hervey Bay with beaches for dog walks everywhere as well as the one at the properties back gate. The house is very well equipped, comfortable and well laid out, no Foxtel which we missed on the couple of wet days that we encountered. Will definitely be back for a 4th time in the future.

Michelle Illidge - 28th December 2020The property was very well equipped with plates, kitchen appliances etc. The yard needed mowing when we got there, the bbq was dirty and the house wasn't as clean as it could have been. The oven was dirty. I was contacted straight away after sending an email. The house was a lovely house and big enough for all of us. Would definitely go back again.

Amazing King Tide

Welcomed at Wags
Paul - 30th January 2019We had a great time at WAGS the dog was happy and the proximity to great beaches and sea was second to none. The property was clean and pristine in presentation and the food and friendly service at the local dining establishments Goodys and the Salty Squid were excellent and only an easy walk away. We caught a couple of good fish each day as a bonus. A house well worth booking for a break.
