For our last couple of , we've unfortunately ran out of gas or appliances have not worked, such is life. My only recommendation would be a new couch. The couch is very low and provides no support, too soft and squishy.

House was well equipped and in a great clean condition upon arrival, everything you could need is here including dryer, spare fridge freezer, bait freezer downstairs, great big BBQ for the masses and ample parking for car and boat under cover.

Perfection to dismay
Mia Van Lieshout - 9th March 2021Perfect location for a large family holiday destination, lots of space for the children to run around, fully fenced, big covered verandah with a large timber table inside and out and a big BBQ which we used frequently, plenty of beds and lovely atmosphere for everyone to relax and unwind. The Beach House provided so much space, we were lucky enough to be able to invite my Mum to stay one night with us and my partners mother the following night. Everyone was having such a wonderful time we were already looking at when we could possibly book THE BEACH HOUSE again. The Beach House is old but reasonably well renovated to be comfortable. Close to the river and boat ramp, easy access to the water for our kayaks and SUPS. Can you possibly imagine my dismay, when TWO WEEKS later, Elders Burrum Heads had taken $150 from my credit card with no authority? I woke to an email stating the owner accused us of destroying the property, breaking chairs, breaking the shower head and leaving the carpet so muddy that it had to be replaced, all allegations that are blatantly untrue & charging me a fee of $430, $150 of which they had already charged to my credit card. The owner had accused my family of destroying the property and insisted we never be allowed to re-book the property again. After many emails/phone calls back and forth to the real-estate, they made contact with previous tenants and the cleaner who arrived as we were leaving. It was finally established that I was not at fault and offered my money back which took two days to clear back onto my credit card. My family and I are disgusted and humiliated with how we have been treated and we will NEVER recommend staying at "The Beach House" Burrum Heads.

Awesome fishmans retreat!
Sharna - 20th March 2018Great place for the fishing family! Plenty room for boats. Everything u could need,bait fridge/freezer etc. Upstairs great big deck with beer cooler! Inside was well set out although we where very disappointed with cleanliness. Surfaces were clean. It really needs a good "spring clean" with this done I would have given 5 starrs
