Kylie C - 20th December 2023Family had a great week at Burrum Heads, very relaxing. House is very comfortable and well equipped. Teenagers enjoyed the airco, wifi and Netflix in amongst some fishing and swimming in the local area. A lovely outlook over the water from the house. Pool table was fun. And so nice to just have an easy stroll to the beach. Dog loved it too!

The location and home are absolutely beautiful! We are usually campers at Burrum and decided to do a holiday house for something different, so glad we did! The house is so well stocked with all the essentials (we bought half a house with us not knowing what we needed 😊) We have booked this home again for next year and we can’t wait! Thank you!!
Amazing House
Scott Rogers - 4th October 2022A group of 4 couples stayed over the recent Oct long weekend for our first visit to Burrum Heads on a fishing holiday. ‘Sand n Sea’ is truly an amazing house with everything we ever needed for the group - the photos online simply do not do it justice. Beautifully and clean, well maintained, well layed out n super relaxing just 30m to the water. The outdoor entertainment area was awesome for afternoon drinks, playing pool, and BBQ’s. We were all super impressed and will be definitely be back!!

It allows for direct beach views and access and provides large indoor and outdoor areas in which to relax and socialise. The wifi was an appreciated addition to the home. Beautiful property awesome location
Penny Baker - 23rd August 2021We booked the property purely for its size and location. We had a few family members coming and needed room. The house is set up well for groups with two living areas and a huge outdoor area with a pool table. It was great . Just a short walk to the shops, plenty of parking for cars and boats and the water was on your doorstep.The only negative was the hot water kept running out and there was no door on the ensuite.
great location - disappointing gloomy house which lacks light
Sharon Crone - 12th July 2021A lot of things about the house which were below par; it needs some attention esp for that rental cost, e.g. interior and deck painted a light colour, new vacuum stick as it won't hold the charge long enough to vacuum a room; fridge needs replacing as it is too noisy; curtains old and too dark; door or curtain needed to ensuite in front bedroom as curtains don't close completely and you can be seen getting out of the shower from the beach. Good things are its location and the pool table.

The property had a lovely welcoming feel to it. We would recommend this property to friends for a "getaway from it all" holiday break

Kate Treeby - 25th January 2021This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at the property. The last time was approximately 2 years ago and the fridge was leaking then. The sign on the fridge says they're waiting on a part for the fridge, I'm not sure this is entirely true nearly 2 years later! If you're providing a fridge with these facilities (ice n water) then itshould be in good order. The back glass door is not locking & the screen is difficult to lock. You should be able to lock the doors.The curtains need replacing in most rooms as they're worn and there is no privacy in the master bedroom, where they don't close in the bay window. When you're paying over $300 per night, these things should be fixed. I

We enjoyed lots of walks & found the locals to be very friendly.We had no internet access from mid stay, which meant no Netflix which was a tad disappointing.We would love to stay here again.We enjoyed a day out at Hervey Bay and a meal at the Bowls Club.

Restfull Retreat
Tracey Gant - 28th October 2020This house is the perfect get away, right on the water, quiet and private. The home was clean and very spacious. Children & Pet Friendly. I would definitely go back again for another holiday there.Downside - TV system needs updating and small things like broken broom handles and chairs need to be replaced, but other than these couple of small things we loved this place, the area & the tranquility. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The home is family orientated with the pool table, extra TV, pay TV and Wi-Fi and the beach at the back door. The kitchen has everything you could ever want. We re booked already. See you next year.
